Here’s the birdhouse that we bought at Kane County Flea Market – made by a couple in Moline, IL. It’s really a bird condominium, notice the stacked houses.

It’s hot here in the Chicago suburbs – in the late 90’s, or is it high 90’s? Anyway, just hot, and not a dry heat, either.

While all of us were admiring the birdhouse, here’s the conversation:

“Do you know why no birds are in your birdhouse yet?”

“No, Dad, why?”

“Because there’s no air conditioning in there!”

Funny – my Dad is funny. Not only did we get a lot done, but we laughed a lot too.
