We made it to the OCEAN! It’s been an exciting couple of days, but immensely fun and very random vacation.This is the first time we haven’t had a destination in mind, or reservations, or even a plan with what we were going to do. It’s very liberating to not have an agenda or a vacation “to do” list. Usually on our vacations, we have each day scripted with a plan. This time, we decided to just go and do what we want, when we feel like doing it.This morning we were in Huntington, West Virginia, and decided that we wanted to see the ocean today. We drove for about 9 hours and made it to Virginia Beach, VA, and got a hotel room overlooking the Atlantic Ocean.We highly recommend randomness on vacations, or really, anytime. Random=fun.
